I am committed to making the legal process simple and this includes my fees.
For straightforward matters, I publish my fixed legal fees and disbursements to give you price certainty and allow you to budget for the legal work you require. There are no surprises. You will receive a cost disclosure in writing and only when you are happy, will I start the legal work. If your matter is complex, I will give you an estimate of the legal fees and won’t start work unless you agree with the cost disclosure.
Disbursements are expenses, money paid by Lam Law on your behalf e.g. title searches, company searches, property certificates, PEXA digital settlement, court application fees. These may not all be applicable to your matter. Disbursements are charged on top of the legal fee.
